HELP with changing rear breaks
HELP with changing rear breaks
Hey i just took off the rotors on my rear breaks and i wanted to know how the hell am i supposed to compress the rear break cylinder?! i thought i was just gonna c-clamp it but that sure as hell doesn't look like it is going to work. Someone please help i am running out of sunlight!!!
you have to use a special tool.you can get it from ADVANCE thats where i got mine it looks like a cube it uses a ratchet to screw the piston back in dont us a C-clamp thats what i did and i ruined mine. all u have to do is find the correct pattern on the cube.

In my opinion, this is the correct tool to use--it is fool-proof and effective. The price has gone way up (what hasn't) as I paid $34 for mine. But who cares, if the auto parts shops let you rent it for free, why not rent the correct one? My friend got exactly this kit for free rental. You change the fitting and it works for the front as well--way easier to use than a c-clamp, same principle.
