question about calipers could they cause vib.letting me think rotors are warped
well I,m about to get new rotors again this will be the 3rd time in 3 years... after reading some posts I'm led to believe 1 of 3 things....(1) is that my pads ( ebc green) are too harsh for the rotors (brembo.cros/drll,dimpl) I,ve been buying, and are eating up my rotors prematurely...???...(2) I,m suspicious I may have used too much or too little brake grease when re-assembling the caliper pin guide thing (maybe a bubble has formed?). The brakes have always dragged slightly,... and audibly to some level when my window is rolled down I can hear them very slightly. also when I hit my brakes the noise would go away! the brakes never dragged or made noise when they where stock. (3) maybe the calipers are going the car does have 118k on it, and the calipers on these cars seem somewhat prone too premature ejaculation
can somone please shed some light on the issue. when on the highway and going speeds over 50 and I brake it feels like the friggin front end is coming apart? could this be the calipers and not the pads can bad calipers give you the impression that the rotors are warped?

Jack up the fronts w/o wheels mounted. Spin the rotors and see what's dragging/rubbing with and w/o the brake pedal pressed.
If you've never done caliper maintenance then now's the time to start.

Too much grease on the caliper pins is bad (wipe off a bit of excess). You want the pins to freely move in & out. If you got an air pocket in there you can pry the end of the boot with a small object to release air while pressing in.

That is a lot of miles and way too many rotors. Something in your brake system is messed up. I would replace all 4 calipers, rotors and pads. The new setup should give you 50-60k miles of no worries. Otherwise, over the next 10-30k miles, your calipers may start sticking one by one and you will have torched another 3 sets of rotors by that time... Bejay's comments about caliper pins and caliper maintenance should be followed.
