14.6 @ 94, 4th gen Auto + 75shot

Went to the track yesterday for the first time. i screwd up my first run, the 60' was 2.349, but i left the damn car in 1st so i bounced off rev limiter few times lol. and ran 15.1.

the 2nd run which was the last run i ran 14.6 at 94, 60' was 2.466, meanign if i didnt screw up the 1st time i would ran low 14 perhaps. The bottle pressure was at about 850psi so i wasnt getting the total 75hp shot. maybe like 55 or 60. i had some wheel spin as well. hopefully with DR's and 950-1000psi i can brake into 13s or real low 14. who knows.will post sheet soon

hmmm, don't take this the wrong way, but my setup was very similar to yours (i had i/y/e and 75 wet shot) and the only time i pulled those 60' and e/ts i came to realize that my knock sensor needed replacing. could be though that you just werent hooking at all and getting down a consistent 60' will make all the difference in the world.

Not bad, I see low 14.0's with that setup on DR'S and proper bottle preasure. To bad I didn't make it out there. I didn't leave the shop till 1am. By the way how come Luke hasn't posted up his time with the new VI?
I heard there was another 14 sec runner..

Yea my 60' wasnt great, i didnt hear alot of spin cuz my tires are pretty quiet but i could feel that i didnt have 100% contact to the ground, specially when the nitrous kicked in at 3k. Hopefully my next investment will be a bottle warmer and tires. the other 14 sec was s0ber which did pretty good. I think i didnt do bad considering this was my first time ever being to a track. Hopefully with the very little i learned and tires/bottle warmer, i can get pretty low 14's. I didnt do any weight reduction either, all seats in, only spare was taken out and i was on my 2k2 titanium rims (52lbs each lol)

no shame in mid 14's though, i think the key here is "first time at track" go right back out there next weekend and knock down that 14.6. it will happen ! lol !

Is the cold air kit with Apexi cone + custom kit giving effect to my 4th.gen. Max. with auto gearbox. I do not have the kit yet but using the Apexi cone and it is slow as old donky.I need fast and sharp start . Will I get it with cold air kit?
My 60 feet is 2.545
1/4 mile -16.1.
It is too slow?
Does cold air kit help with Apexi cone?

just keep practicing, you should be able to hit low low 14's or possibly dip into the 13's. It would be a good idea to get your N20 system tuned a little better because I think your trap should be a little higher. My 95 is a 5 speed, but I was trapping 97 mph with just bolt ons. Good luck on getting your times down.
