Awesome setup. What do you have in the rear? Looks stock.
Just wondering, do calipers get stolen?

Peter that looks awesome man ... good to see your still modding ... how are your teins holding up ? ...

im a brake upgrade noob, although I can change my own pads and rotors .. im confused, the cobra rotors fit due to the same size bolt pattern for the wheels and then its just the 300zx caliper/pads ? ... I definitely need to do this

Do you have any pics or Jeffs? BBK brackets and the hubcentric rings?
what is the offset on those wheels? are you using spaces?

sorry guys, i dont have pics of the brackets, but i remember 2 of the bolts were touching my rotor so i had to add an additional washer to make it clear.

for the cobra rotors, i had them redrilled and i put the rings on, but for some reason, it did not sit right. so right now im just on the cobra rotors redrilled to fit my car better, you need the rings if you dont redrill but it is still recommended if you redrill.

Wow very nice. Yet it barely fits the diameter of the wheels. How much did you pay for everything?

May I ask what pictures would have done to "prepare" you? Also I believe you were asking for pictures before this thread was created. Not too sure how it would help but I'll try to get a picture up when the next batch of rings come in

But I'd like to see pictures though. Because he never really describes "doesn't sit right" really means.

17s is the absolute minimum wheel size. Even then, I've heard of one or two 17" wheels not fitting (dia-wise) because of some rim design.

Damn Peter, that's a nice setup there. Now you can stop like a BMW. I'm gonna be hitting you up soon for an HID Kit. Also, I may be able to send you some Starbucks coupons, like maybe a whole booklet of drink certificates!

you know when i put the rings on, there was just way too much space in between the bracket and my caliper so i did not put them on.
i did get the rotor redrilled though, and it seems to fit well.

im curently running 17x7.5 on it and i was very skeptical if it would fit or not, and it does fit (thank goodness)
for everyone that doesn't know if it would clear their wheels or not......17's is the minimum for this kit to fit under the inner barel of the wheel. but clearance of the spoke is also another thing.
doesn't matter what offset your wheels are, because if the spoke design is off, it will not fit. do a lot of research before putting these on!!!

the whole set up. i dont remember how much it cost, i got the calipers with the 300zx rotors first, and with the new rotor and brake pads, cost me about 160. brackets i had long time ago. so i really forgot how much i spent total, but ball park....maybe $600-$700?

When you had them redrill the cobra rotor was it because the Diameter the of the holes for the cobra studs are larger than the nissan stud holes? Did you just take both rotors to them and the lined it up and drilled it that way or did you do it your self?

zack342 - the wholes are redrilled because the cobra studs are a lot bigger than the maxima, so its redrilled to fit more snug on our car.

boostlogic - your sig looks really clean and nice, i really like it.
