5 speed swap clutch pedal question

I recieved a clutch and brake pedal for a 5 speed swap and am just a bit confused on how the clutch pedal is supposed to work with the hydraulic lines. The brake pedal is normal, nice a springy like you would expect. The clutch pedal however only wants to stay in one of two positions, either locked in the up poistion or locked in the down position. There is no play inbetween the two positions as it just snaps from one to the other as you apply force to the pedal. Is this how its supposed to be? And to get the nice springy feeling do I just need to attach slave/master cylinders and hydraulic lines, fill it with brake fluid and thats it?

yea, the clutch pressure is made by the brake fluid in the lines. Attach all the lines, fill the reservoir with brake fluid, bleed the lines of air, and you should have that nice springy feeling your brake pedal has.
