One fog comes on before the other

I am having some problems with my fogs. When they sit for a while not turned on (say 24 hours) and I turn them on, the passenger side immediately comes on and the driver side takes a second and then slowly fades in. They end up just as bright and after the first time they both immediately come on. I was going to swap relays and see what happened but they had different diagrams on the top and I wasn't sure they could be swapped. I have heard that the same color relays can be swapped? Is this true? What is the problem with my fogs?? Thanks.

Thanks for the response. I just thought it might be the relay because I tried to get it out once and pulled pretty hard before I saw the little clips on the side. I will swap the bulbs out and see if it still happens. What is the number on those? I have stock ones now and thats what I want to keep.
I'm not sure about the part #. Any parts store can match it up. Nissan doesn't make the bulbs. If u still have a prob after that, I would check the surface where the buld seats in the lens. this is where the bulb gets its ground. If it's coroded or dirty, this could be the prob. Also check the connection where the bulb plugs in. Let me know how u make out.

If there was corrosion on the connector, the baking soda was a good move. It won't do anything for dirt though. I would recheck your connections on the side your havin trouble with. And like I said b4, pay particular attention 2 where the bulb contacts the housing.
