I have an 01 max with 80,000 on it and I just got done detailing my car this weekend and noticed the front bumper has some slight play in it. Is there a easy way to tighten this. I am guessing you have to take the retaining clips off underneath it and also the wheel wells to gain access to the screws? I have changed my foglight bulbs several times and am familiar with that, but does anyone have a link on how to do this? I know the 6th gen have about 8 screws holding the bumper. Thanks.............

 

I am having the same problem on my 2003. Mine hangs about an inch lower than it should. I blamed the neighbor kids playing around the car. I can't seem to find where to fix it either.

i used a **** load of washers under all the oem bumper screws.
it raised it about a half inch.

 

zax, i've taken off my rear bumper but never my front bumper. do you have any pics or more details about how you raised your front bumper? almost every 2002/2003 Maxima I've seen (including my own) seems to have a huge gap between the front bumper and the hood.
