whenever i go over a bump (not a speed bump), hole or uneven road surface, i hear a click sound (just one click) from the left rear of my car. it's only on the left rear side b/c if i go over a bump, etc just with my right tire, there is no sound. any ideas?

 

It could potentially be a problem with the CV boot. You may want to look at it and see if there is any visible cracking.
