AC blowing hot air

Hey guys, my AC isn't blowing any cold air, I was wondering does the AC system depend on Freyon gas (if so can i DIY a refill) or on coolant?

Another thing does the TB throw any codes when it needs cleaning? How do I know if it needs to be cleaned?

How can I tell if my radiator pump is going bad?

You can refill it yourself. Any parts store should have the can. You need it to say 134. The TB doesn't throw codes. I just took some carb cleaner and sprayed the butterfly and the outter part of the TB cleaned it off with a white rag and that was that. I have no idea about the pump.

the instructions are on the bottle, it is really pretty straight forward. There is also a thing in the stickies as well. Basically, put your windows down, turn the AC on full and coolest possible, and get a temperature gauge. Attach the refil can to the LOW PRESSURE SIDE! It won't attach to the High Pressure Side, but just make sure you don't. Also, get a kit without a pressure gauge on it, as they are not even close to accurate. Slowly start refilling the system, and when the AC temp starts levelling out (~40* below ambient), then it is full enough. During a 75* day I filled mine until it hit 40*F, and it has been great for over a year now.

And by radiator pump do you mean water pump?

And just clean the TB every 6-12 months.
