This will throw off your timing (56k take a walk)

Hey, I've been having a problem starting my car recently, and I figured out why. Apparently a rock chipped my crank pulley, and this sheared off one side, and the crank sensor needs the little teeth on the pulley to get an accurate reading.

I replaced the crank pulley, and all is well, other than a vacuum issue I have, but car runs fine.

Yea that will do it. Im suprised something could have gotten back there and not damaged the oil pan, sensor, or anything else.

I told her i'll give her a ride when the Vq35 goes in, cause she loves speed.

I told her i'm going for fastest Maxima (NA) in NJ. We'll see if that's true on Nissan Day on the 24th.
