Will the 97-99 red/clear tail light fit on 96 rear ??
my local bodyshop messed up with my rear lights when they fixed it and accidentally put 96 instead of 97. I want to get the 97-99 RED/CLEARS tail lights from ebay, but will they fit on a 96 rear trunk ? thanks

no. 95/96 tails are shaped differently than 97-99.

how did they fit them in there?...the shape of the trunk is totally different..post some pics..i gotta see this

after my rear got totaled, they converted it to a 1996 rear instead of 1997. The front side is still the same, but they just changed the back to 1996.

So you ok'd them "converting" it to a 96 when your car is a 97????

the maxima was initially my brothers car until he got a new audi. He was pretty pissed off too when he told me about it, but my dad didnt want to take it back to the shop.
