Brakes squealing when I put on my 18"s.

I just recently bought a set of 18" G35 rims. Once I put them on, my brakes started to sqeal. There was no sqeal with my stock 16"s. I checked and the brake pads have over 50%. Is it because the G35 rims are much heavier than the stock? Is this a common problem? Please help!

i would guess that the new rims are just to big and heavy. also the loss in performance and gassmilage is also not good

is it a squeal like the brake indicator, or a differnt sqeal.

it could be the brake pins - make sure they move back and forth and are lubed up and not seized.

it may be the wheel bearings, if your going to put something like what you have done, im guessing extra strain is going to be put on those wheel bearings.

you could try and see if the noise goes away with the stock rims and go from there if you really wana find out.
