You will win a drag race with him... up top is where they shine. i dont know what their absolute top speed is stock, but when they hit 3rd they really start pouring it on. the only races i've had with them have been up to 70-80, no highway races yet. i've beaten all the lightly modded ones i've dragraced though.

It's a REAL close race, whoever drives better will win.

My friend went to a meet where a gsr and stock AUTO Max went head to head in a drag. He said the max not only beat the gsr, but it Killed it! GSR's are fast, but it totally depends on the driver.if you have manual maxs youll have no prob with one

the gsr should take you, unless he can't drive at all.

Once they're rolling they're fast, I'm saying you COULD lose!

Well, I raced a Type-R the other day up to about 80 from a light. The Type-R weighs less than the GSR and has 25 more horsepower. I have an intake and Y-pipe. It was DEAD even. Neither of us was more than 2 feet ahead the entire race. Stock for Stock, it would be very close, but you would gradually and eventually take him, assuming both drivers are wrenching the absolute most out of their cars.
