exhaust question I30 2001

stupid question though but was there ever a company that made a dual exhaust for an I30 2001? kinda like the 350z exhaust?

i would say no because that would take alot of custom work (hangers ect)
but it might not hurt to take it to an custom exhaust shop and see what they can whip up

I believe they have some sound clips on the website. I remember it sounding pretty good.

You will have to do some custom work though. There is some sort of black box on the left hand side which will obstruct the second pipe. It will either have to be relocated or worked around. Sorry, I've never looked to actually see what it was.

Personally I would just go with another proven exhaust design that will bolt right up. I am partial to Cattman products as they are of very high quality and show the best gains. The twin stainless tips look very good IMO.

I've got their 2nd gen stainless headers on order which should hopefully start comming in soon, and I am looking seriously at the catback as I will have to purchase the B-pipe for proper O2 installation.

awh i was hoping to pickup a dual exhaust but i guess the only good options are the cattman ones and they're all dual tip exhaust. oh well

i think that the 00/01 maxima is the same exhaust as the 00/01 i30 so you can get the customenterprise dual exhaust that they sell for the 00/01 maxima and just do a little custom job on the bumper and you should be all set.
