How do you remove the STEERING WHEEL?

Getting my steering wheel leather-wrapped, want it out...what special tools will I need? How do I do it? Pics would be great...

i actually got my steering wheel off without a steering wheel puller. i remember not having the puller (i was at work and wanted the new wheel on now) and i got so frustrated i pulled the wheel straight off and hit myself right in the mouth . i must say that wasnt the best

I just did this last weekend (swapped out my GXE wheel for the nice SE one)...it's really easy, and you probably don't need the steering wheel puller. One you remove the horn (it's just clipped in place) you'll see a 19mm (I think) nut holding the wheel in place. Take that off and start trying to work the wheel loose; it should come off after a little effort...just don't try pulling it out hard, or you'll probably do like someone said earlier and hit yourself in the face with it...

edit-> btw, nice interior (same as mine!)

Dayle - your Max is EXTREMELY clean. Nice job taking care of it!!!

Yeah, just take off the nut, and jiggle it a bit while pulling - and yes, I'm talking about your steering wheel...
