Cheap Muffler thats kinda quiet

Well my car kina lost its cool sound once the snorkel went back on it..... Anyways i am getting the windows tinted because its so ****ing hot inside with black leater and outside tempatures over 95 degrees.....So i figured i would get a new muffler while im at it...

Anyways... Whats a cheap, slightly louder than stock muffler that does not look ricey or sound ricey. IF there is another cheap solution of making my car sound cool please post!

Well the other box thing that is attached to the end of the snorkel kinda moves around cause of a car crash, it is missing like 2mm of plastic so the snorkel keeps it in place. Does having the snorkel off have any advangtages? What happens if the wires on the snorkel are detached does that mess up the air/fuel raito or hurt my mileage?

Yes, thats the Apexi WS2. I used to have an Apexi WS catback and it was trully a quiet exhaust. Its a bit louder then OEM, but much quiter then most of the aftermarket exhausts I have heard.
Being that the one linked to is a universal unit, it will either hva eto have a flange welded onto it (the best way to so it ) or it will need to be welded onto the oem piping.

I'm also looking for a quiet muffler to replace my OBX-H one. I took the silencer out, and now the thing is loud as crap and drones between 2500-3000rpms. I was thinking of getting the one for $50 that was talked about on maxmods.dyndns.org

if you have a stock exhaust and are replacing just the muffler any muffler will be pretty quiet. I had a glass pack for months and its only slightly louder than a greddy. but once you replace the y pipe all hell breaks loose.

What if I have a budget Y-pipe only and the add this muffler, will the sound go up a couple of notches? I heard it is best to get the muffler with the whole new CATBACK so it won't sound to loud, but I don't know...

I'm Using a Magnaflow 14827. It's louder than stock but not ricey at all; doesn't roar but does sound nice under load and quiet above 2.5k. If you want it a little quieter, opt for the double walled mufflers. Stock resonators are enough to keep it's sound respectable so you don't have to worry about that.
