SM 5th gen OEM 17's painted request

Well...long story short, I used this armor-all crap on my wheels to clean them and it did a nice job of taking the paint off. Pissed because my rash free rims look like crap now(pics later).

I explored my options and new rims aren't in the budget right now, so....anyone have a sterlist mist with painted stock 17" wheels or any maxima with painted 17"s

damn, that sux man

painting is easy
u can do it with the tire on
get a bunch of index cards and stick em in the crease between rim and tire
then spray

2 coats primer
3 coats color
2 coats clear coat

in that order and it should b good

dam sorry to hear that man. Are all the wheels fu*ked up? try ebay and purchase one wheel, the 00-01 wheels usualyl sell cheap. So this might help with ur low budget.

I'd at least return it and get your money back... send armor-all an email or a letter demanding reparations. See how well they're "100% satisfaction guarantee" holds up to disgruntled customers. Document everything!

it's a wheel cleaner... what other applications would anyone use it for... and if not for the wheel, what else COULD you use it for?
