So I got around to getting the fogs out today so I can put in some HID's..

4 out of the 6 screws neccessary to take out in order to get the fogs out were rusted to the max - and completely broke.

One of the screws on the passenger side that you have to take out in order to move the plastic from under the vehicle (to access/see the fog).

Both bolts/screws on the back of the passenger side fog.

One bolt/screw on the back of the drivers side fog.

Will I have to purchase new fogs now?

If not..

I also have 1 drivers side cracked lense.. it seems kind of minor to me - but would the general verdict be to purchase a new one while its out?

Thanks in advance for the help.

p.s also...since the thread is already open..
can someone post the how-to for installing HID's in the fogs for the 5.5 gen?
Thx

in order for them to stay in the bumper, you have to replace them now. The best way to do it is to just go to a local autparts store and buy aftermarket fogs. I re-used the wiring harness off the OEM fog and was able to plug in the aftermarket directly into the OEM harness. Since every aftermarket fog is different, noone can give you a write-up on the install, but if you're creative and use the brackets that come with the new fogs, you should be able to make it work.
