Finally got factory XM receiver, piece of cake.

Installed the receiver I got from Grubbs. Prices have really dropped. When I got the car new in 04, they wanted something like 500 bucks for the XM so I passed because I had a portable Roady. Finally installed the XM receiver, I was prewired so SUCH A PIECE OF CAKE. I joke you not, installed in under 5 minutes. Took longer to get the thing activated. Sounds much better than going through the tape player and having all the wires and stuff around. Now, if I can get Nissan to give me a call when my replacement seat belt, roof trim, and OK to fix the paint peeling on the front bumper.

Ehhh, I used to like Stern, like Otis and Anthony a bit better. Regardless of choice, XM or Sirius, the are both a piece of cake to install. Grubbs was the cheapest place to get the receiver and antenna from. New receiver no longer requires a splitter either. No drilling, nothing. Plug in antenna, throw on rear shelf, plug in prewired cable, double stick tape, power up, done.
