so i go to install my fog lights and found...

I bought a fog light kit and went to install it today on my GLE. I reach in and grab my pass side fog lamp connector poped it in and test it everyone worked out great. I go and reach for my driver side and found that some *** cut my connector off!!!!! They butt connected and tucked it back into the plastic loom!!!! I'm freaking **** the heck off. I never bothered to check the driver side. when i found out everything was prewired i peeked on the pass side and saw it called it good.

it looks like a clean job. maybe someone at the dealership broken a connector and used the fog light connector assuming that fogs would never be installed. why esle was it butt connected.

Now i'm on the hunt for a fog light connector with part of the harness? anyone have one to give me to. All you GLE people who don't want fogs period.

Why can't you cut the connector off the fog light and solder the wires together? Bypassing the two connectors. I'm not really sure how they look though.

+1 on soldering. Should just be 2-3 wires to solder together.
