gauge needles stopped working....

I recenty installed the Ebay indiglo gauges, and after install all of the needles but the speedo are stuck, are the other three needles on a fuse somewhere than may be blown, or any other ideas? Fuel, Temp, and Tach are all non-functional.

that's what I was asking...which fuse controls these needles? None of the ones there in the fuse box under the dash by the driver door are labeled for the panel or gauges except one that says "METER", not sure what that is. Nevertheless, I checked all the fuses in that box, and they all seem to be working fine. Also, the two buttons on the right hand side of the steering wheel (Panel Dimmer, and Rear Defrost) are non-functional as well...are they tied into anything that has to do with the needles? The mirror adjuster and cruise control buttons on the left hand side of the steering wheel work fine.

Maybe you forgot to plug in one of the plugs?

I have the same problem, I took off the needles to hide the wires, but now nothing works right anymore, the speedo doesn't work, the tach is slow to return to idle, the fuel and temp gauges don't work either! This is terrible, now I have to buy another one...right?

Well when I first installed the faces, I didn't even remove the gauge cluster from the car, so I didn't unplug anything. I was wiggling it around though, so it's possible something came loose, but I don't know what. Maybe this is a good excuse to buy an SE gauge assy. :-D But I would really like to get this fixed for now.

Make sure the new gauge faces aren't coming in contact with the needles. Even the slightest contact can prevent the needles from functioning properly.

well the first time, I installed the new gauge faces over top of the old ones and there was some rub, so I also thought that was the problem. I got back into it and removed the original faces and just put the new ones on so they weren't double stacked, so now there is no contact. I guess I am most confused because the speedo is still working, but the other gauges aren't. I guess it is on a cable, and that's why I'm assuming that is is a fuse or a connection has come loose.

The instrument cluster needles are all electrical[no cables],including the speedo..It is ran off of a electrical speed sensor on top of the transmission..

I would pull the cluster out and check for a unplugged wiring harness or two..
