thickness of good brake rotors

My brakes are sqeaking and I know that my fronts are shot.
so I was checking the thickness of the brake rotors today (2001 i30) but it measured to be 26mm (front) and 10mm (rear). my front pads are shot, rear pads are still good.

and I mearured the brand new rotors(dura last from autozone) and they are 26mm (front) and 10mm (rear).

are my rotors still good? what % of life do I still have on them? or need to replace along with pads?

if the rotors aren't severely gouged up or warped, then just install the new pads and call it a day.

since I got the car used last year, I'm not sure when exactly the brakes were done. and I've put on 10,000km since.

I thought rotors need to be replaced as well but the thickness is same as new rotors I got as I mentioned above. so I was curious what's the minimum thickness of rotors for our cars. if my existing rotors are still good, I can replace front pads and return the rest of parts I purchased.

check your FSM in the brake section for the minimum thicknesses allowable.

IIRC, my rear brembo rotors said 8mm as the minimum thickness. Depending on how much a shop charges you to cut them and re-install, you might be better off buying new ones

How were you measuring the thickness of the rotor?
