Alarm system installed and now drivers seat and steering wheel doesn't work. Help!

I went to get a compustar alarm with remote start installed today. The guy who did the job completed it in under four hours. The alarm and starter were working fine. The ses light came on he tried the reset the battery thing that didn't work. He then had it reset and all was well. I then inquired about having the fog lights turn on with the parking lights. They figured it out and it worked also. I can have my parking lights on with the fogs and they hooked up a switch so I could cancel it also. The car has a menacing look to it with the fogs and the parking lights on near dusk. I can even have the fogs blink with the parking lights upon arming and disarming.

Now here is where something went wrong. My next idea was to have the mirrors fold in when I remove the key and open when the car starts. It was getting late so they looked into it to see if there was something they could do and were brainstorming on it. They opened it up and started to try to figure out the way it worked. They tapped into some of the wires and said they should be able to do it. I said we can hold off until next week sometime. They closed up evrything and I got into my car. I tried to adjust my seat and no dice I then tried to adjust the steering wheel no-dice . I told them these things weren't working and they started looking into it. The tried everything they could and could not resolve it. When I try to tilt the steering wheel I can hear the clicking from the fuse. The same goes for the seat. He was able to get the steering wheel to move back and forward by using a wire and hooking it to the motor directly. They took to stereo out and and went to every circuit they could find. The fuses were good. Has anyone run into this problem when you had your alarm installed? I think there is a circuit for the dpp (drivers preferred package). I can't see both going out at once. The mirrors work, the heated seat, heated steering wheel, and the passenger seat works. Please help me with this one. I just need to know where to have them look. I am going to go crazy until I get it fixed.

As far as the fog light goes they tapped into the relay and ran it through the fire wall, They then fused it somehow, I will be going backtoday. I will ask them exactly what they did.

I am new and as such deemed unworthy to post a new thread. This one is the only one I could find regarding alarms (since I have no ability to search) so I hope you don't mind me asking it here....

I have an 04 Maxima and am looking online for the best alarm. Do aftermarket alarms work with the seat, steering wheel, and mirror memory so that my wife and I can still have our own settings when we unlock the car with our fob? If so, which alarm is the best in this regard?

Thanks and I apologize for posting this here. The 15 post thing seems a little excessive to me but I understand the reasoning behind it.
