Installed CE Y PIPE now SES light is on

Installed CE Y PIPE now SES light is on
Just installed the Y pipe for the 4 speed auto and the bolts dont line up perfect so i get all that will but 1 and so i go to home depot to get a bolt and the ses light is on and i have a slight exhaust leak so im wondering if this is the reason for the light(minor leak) or could it be something else WTF everytime i do some thing to this car the friggin lights come on

that happens yes, the ses light will go on if the exaust is leaking.

Maybe you just need to torque in bolts down harder!!!

After that, go to an Autozone, or Advance Auto, have them read the code for you then erase, should remove your SES light, if it comes back on???
