Before you start trrashing me..I checked the parts thread...even the how to thread..I still don't have search capabilities so thats the reason for my "noob" posts...anywho....I'm looking into replacing my painted door handles with the chrome ones (exterior) I cant seem to find any web sites or anyone on ebay selling these... any suggestions? Also...is the install easy? Thanks.

 

Last time I took my car to the body shop for some work I wanted to get my chrome handles painted body color and they told me they would have to order new ones and then gave me a quote, but I do not remember how much it was. So i would say check the stealership or a local body shop. However if it is an easy install i might be interested in a trade if we have the same color.

 

mine is silver..or "sterling mist" liek yours I beleive they are the same color....one problem on a trade tho...while our handles are in the mail...our cars are a bit useless lol

 

I've seen them in the classifieds, you just have to keep an eye out. It's worth waiting to avoid the high dealer prices.

 

go to www.car-parts.com they are pretty much the best used car parts finder IMO. (it might be www.car-part.com ) but you need the space line in between the 2 words otherwise it will go to a completely different car parts site,the wrong one.

 

When all else fails, try the local slavage yards. I'm sure you'll find a couple Crashed/scraped GLE handles.
