Window Trouble

My windows will usually not roll up or down when I first start my car and it stays that way for at least 5 min. They will work fine after that. It gets worse when it rains, also.

No matter what door it is the window or lock/unlock controls won't work. The sunroof, mirrors, and all other electrical stuff will always work.

Anybody else have this annoying problem?

What if you turn the car off then turn it back on immediately, do the windows work then? I guess what I am trying to figure out is whether it only works with the car warmed up or it doesn't matter.

i know this sounds stupid, but my sisters bf had the same issue in his camry. i think there was something wrong with his central control unit. maybe check and see if everything is working properly from there. other than all fingers point to a connection problem.

I would also think a connection problem, it is possible that the regulator is going bad, in the glass business that is a fairly commen problem, and if thats the case you will not like the price tag from a glass shop. If are a fix it man and you know how to take the door apart you can take out the glass and then the regulator that is bolted to the inside of the door via 10mm bolts, take it out and test its opperation with a power source like a battery charger and a test light. Believe me that is an expensive part, if you can do all this yourself, and you find out you need a regulator they are dealer-only parts and I would try to find one from nissan sites like courtisy nissan etc.

It has only gotten worse now. I appreciate the suggestions but I may have found the problem.
Yesterday the diver's window went down but didn't come back up. A guy at work has a Max so I switch out the driver's side window switch with his and all the window's worked perfectly.
I then reconnected mine and none of them worked, right away. I left and about 3 min later they started working(like it has been doing for about a year now). So all signs point to that drivers side control that is the problem. I will keep you all posted b/c I know somebody else will run into this problem later.

Thanks...
