Anyone have recommendations/opinions on aftermarket magnetic oil drain plugs from recognized automotive experts?

I dont think its needed curt. On a motor youll see very minimal metal peices. Even if you do, all will be picked up by the filter.

I guess by the time you see junk stuck to the mag on an automatic trans, you're already in trouble, huh!

The automatic transmission comes from the factory with 2 high power magnets attatched to the pan.

I think that there is no point to have magnets in your oil pan if you need it to keep metal out very often then u have some major problems that the magnets can't fix anyway.
