Hey guys,

I'm in the middle of swapping a 3.5 engine into my 4th gen maxima, so I need to get a better clutch. From previous discussions/polls, I've decided to go with the exedy organic clutch kit (stage 1) for 3.0 maximas.

So they are around $350 most places I've seen them, then I look at ebay and see this:

Anyone know if this would be a good idea? Any help at all is appreciated

 

the ones on ebay are not a stage 1 exedy it is an oem replacement. So it's a bad idea to get the ones from ebay if you are swapping a 3.5.

 

That's the $105 OE replacement.. that is NOT the $300 stage I setup.. If it's for a stockish daily driver, that'll be fine.. but if you're goign to be beating on the car, you'll need a real stage I disc and expect to pay between $250 and $325 for it.

 

Ah, I see. So I should go ahead and get the stage 1 exedy from somewhere else for around $350? Also, I've only seen them listed for the 3.0 engine, will those ktis still hold up for the 3.5 swap?
