what kind of lights are these in the corners?

I have blue corner lamps but mine are apc bulbs. A Few manufacturers make these though. I might switch to orange, picky cops could give you a hard time.

 

polarg makes the ones in particular, in that pic.. they dont glow blue though, they simple look it. yet actually light up bright white at night..

Possibly Piaa Xtreme white bulbs. The bulbs are tinted blue but they only have a slight blue tint to them at night. See pics

I have the cyber white bulbs in my ranger but they shine a white color with a blue tint. Ive had them for a couple years and never had a prob with the cops. Picked mine up at wal-mart. Heres a pic

 

i used to have the polarg hyper whites for a few months, they glow a bright whiteish blue, but i switched back to orange and like the orange look wayyyy better.

It depends on the Vehicle Code (VC). In Kalibanstania it is illegal. Cops gonna give you hard time.

 

Most of the time the ones that don't blink could be a different color, but when it comes to the turn signals, it's likely to get pulled over.

 

those are the silverstars

 

No they arnt silverstars. The silverstars have a different tint during the day. almost a cross between blue and orange. I had them a while back and didnt like the look during the day. They looked like crap. Amber color was great at night tho.

 

Yea I got silverstars in mine and its got a mix of green and blue with the amber. I personally like the look, gonna get clear bumper lights so I can install them in there too.

In San Diego depending on where and when most of the cops will leave you alone if the corner lights are bright like your headlights but over in Coronado their PD will harass the hell out of you if your lights are different.

I like everyone else went through my ricer stage of crazy blue lights everywhere and I just went back to orange corners, Looks SUPER SLICK with the clear black AE corners...but if you like them blue they look really good....

 

I agree with stagnet. I had the hyper whites because i liked the blue look and the white light. But I noticed after a while that it wasnt that great. It's a different look but you'll soon get sick of it. Go with hyper whites if you want and then change later if you want. But amber does look much better.

 

I like the white at night, but not the blue during the day. What brand gets around this problem?
