My lens are getting little cloudy. It looks like I just need to polish them. I tried some plastic polish/cleaner without much luck. has anyone tried this stuff?

i have the same problem with my headlights...
but they are from inside...which means, we'd have to take the head light apart and clean from inside...
i went to a dealer and asked them about the head light...
the service manager said that as long as the car retains its warranty, they can be replaced for free of charge..

I think Meguiars #7 glaze can also be used as a plastic polish.....maybe you can try that also....

I've got inch long cracks in my headlights on the driver's side.
Could it be because of aftermarket bulbs?
If so I thought it would be on both sides.

TRY EXPEL

The EXPEL headlight protection is good for this. I did the headlights myself. Installer did the rest. There is a very light tint to the EXPEL product. It makes the headlights look sweet. E-mail me if you want to see a pic. mpdbusiness@hotmail.com

I'm not sure about that brand of polish...

but what worked for me (and I found this totally by accident) was Meguires Fine Cut Polish and a powered buffer.

I was polishing my bumper with the Meguires and thought, "what the hell" and tried it on the cloudy headlight lenses. To my surprise, they came out looking like new.

I would imagine that any polish should perform as well if you use a powered buffer. I know it should be used with discretion on other body parts, but it worked really well on my lights - and I think our cars are about the same age (June '99)
