Hey guys -- my dad's '97 Maxima has a check engine light. I read the code with my OBD2 code reader -- P0440 and P0446. Both related to the charcoal cannister.

I'm guessing there's been tons of experience with these codes on others' Maximas. If so, please share thoughts/ideas, or point me to the right place if someone has already done a writeup.

Buy the canister and swap it out, no tricks on how to get it out. It's pretty straight forward. The canister is on the driver side of the rear bumper.
