The grille you are thinking of will fit an 00-01 with no modification. just make sure to order the emblem with the grille as it is not included. BTW, it is more of a gunmetal color than black.

The tail lights will fit, but you need to replace the center piece where the license plate is with the I35 part as well.

Interesting...so you can get the I35 grill without the emblem? Might sound like a plan...

No, it prolly wouldn't look good at all. However, I was thing more along the lines of cutting out the inner horizontal slats and put in chrome or black mesh.

Why not just cut apart the grille you already have, paint it and put in the mesh? Sounds like a waste to purchase a $250 grille just to tear it apart, when you could get the same effect with the one you already have.

Am I missing something here?

And yes, it would look terrible without the emblem... There is a big a$$ hole behind it. lol

I wish I could do that, BUT....the stock grill slopes downward where the tiny emblem is and it's not a thin asymmetrical chrome trim all around either. I wanna put chrome mesh in and a body matched emblem in the middle. I'll photoshop up an image later if I get a chance to.

Who knows tho...I might just get the I35 grill, cuz I do like it with the logo and keep it like that, but I do like custom sh*t that noone else will have, well atleast an average person with an I35.

I hear you, but If you really want to go nuts, you should see what it takes to put a G35 emblem into an I35 grill, that's what I wanna do next.

All this talk about custom grilles is rekindeling my Ideas for my stock 00' grille sitting at my parent's home.

I finally found the mesh that I want as well. Unfortunitely I also estimate this could be a bit expensive after all is said and done... Well for a second grille anyway.

Ill be making a trip out to San Diego at the end of the month and will make sure to bring my grille back with me either way now

What kind of grill is that? Looks just like a Benz, but it's not only the grill that makes it look like a Benz, it's also the wrap around Chrome trim on the door moldings.

I really do not know what kind of grille is that and where i did find the picture as well
Probably, that's an aftermarket grille from Taiwan. I really do not know.
I'm sure SYCEFIRO would know more about that

Simon, I'm confused here. You say that it is for an A33 but it came off an A32?? How would it fit then?

This is a grille kit for A32 in the photo above-->. (Mesh w/ Infiniti Symbol).

On the other hand, I am working on the A33 Grilles that may look the similar to this A32 Grille.

Hope this clears it up.
