How much would you expect to pay to paint/mount a new front bumper?

Hey All,

The bottom of my front bumper has been roughed up pretty good, and the driver's side is off ever-so-slightly due to an incident the previous owner had at an automatic car wash. If I picked up one of those front bumpers off of ebay (they're pretty cheap), what would be a reasonable price to pay to have it painted and mounted, and will they be able to match my paint job since it's new paint versus a 9 year old paint job?

The alternative is just picking up a stillen or ionic dynamics front lip. That will actually cover up all of the damage and probably look better instead, but I can't quite afford the full kit right now so I'm not sure if that would just look odd.

thanks

If you go that route, let me know how it turns out. I have a '96 GLE and I cut the bumper to mount a OEM fog light kit. It actually looks really good but I want to replace the bumper with an SE one anyway because I removed a front license plate holder and I have the 2 small holes where it was mounted. I alwaays wondered about the quality and fittment of the ebay bumper covers. You can buy them pre-painted in certain colors.

If I go the ebay bumper route I'll let you know, although just getting the front lip for now is starting to sound appealing. Going to go browse some pics of cars with just the front.

I got an ebay bumper for $60 since it had a crack in the bottom, but my lip covered it. I got my whole kit and bumper painted for $275.

Post up pictures. Just get a lip to cover the damage.

Those with aftermarket front bumpers ( ebay ) ....How was the fitment compared to oem ? I recently hit a large chunk of debris on the freeway that dented my bumper and was debating between oem which is 180-250 from the dealer and aftermarket which is alot cheaper, but dont want problems with everthing lining up.

An eBay 97-99 front bumper fits perfectly on my 96. Very good for only $60 plus paint.
