Need a decent cover, reasonably priced.

Well after four years of ownership, my 97 SE has been kicked to the curb so to speak. We finally got a second car (2000 Saab 9-5 wagon 5-speed) and it will now be the garaged vehicle. Our apartment is a one bedroom so we only get one sub-terranian parking space. The Maxima has spent a couple months on the street and here is what I have noticed so far. Birds aim for black cars, and there is an unimaginable amount of dust in Southern California. So I think I will p/u a cover for the car since I have only been driving it to and from the car wash lately. I never rains here, so that is not a concern, but it is hot and sunny every day. Any suggestions?

I have a Nissan cover which is not too bad. It was around $100, give or take a little. I wouldn't use it in severe weather, but for your climate, it might not be too bad. I work in an industrial part of town, so a lot of airborn contaminants and it serves my purposes. Maybe worth a look for the price. Just my .02.

You bought it at the dealer? That sounds fine. I think $100 is reasonable, that is about 10 car washes which I have been doing once per week. So in 10 weeks it is like it was free!

Yeah, I got it at the dealer. It has pockets for the mirrors so it won't blow off. It might be a little more but not much. I've had mine for a little over a year. BTW, I park my Max in my garage. I only use the cover when I'm at work. Hope this helps.
