Cefiro Hardware

To install the cefiro headlights do you need the black plastic that the OEM lights sit in to aim them?

How is the light out put over the blacked out ones on ebay?

You dont use any of the stock peices except the wires for the light bulbs. H4 > 9004 EVERY day of the week. There really isnt a comparison.

no you dont need that black mount for the oe headlights. take out everything. i had the "smoked" housing for a while, it looked great and output was much better than stock. then again, i was running HIDs on the Cefiros. i went back to stock after a front end accident. didnt like the fitment issue. good luck with the installation...

the bolt right into place after you cut out the fender support for the oem headlight and bent the end of the radiator support in the same spot. dont really need a picture of that

I bought the clear Cerfiro one pieces off ebay and put them on my I30. They fit pretty good. However I couldn't see jack at night. I tried over and over to align the beams..even took it to the dealer. I winded up going back to stock...I wasted my money. Hopefully you have better luck.

i've had a previous front-end collision, but things appear to be in 'normal' condition -i could be wrong, what should i be concerned with if i want to put cefiros in?

The only bulb that works properly in the Cefiros is the H4. You can fit the stock 9004s and others into the light housings but they don't align properly with the Cefiro internal reflectors. I know, I did it. The 9004s vs. the H4s - you go from not seeing anything and not being able to adjust the patterns to a bright flat pattern that adjusts just fine. With the H4 bulbs, the lights are better than stock.
