Installing gauge pod...

Hey guys, before anyone gets mad i have been trying to research this for a while and have been found emprty handed.

I am going to install a gauge pod in my 03 6 speed

I have the electrical down and the actually installation of the gauges but i am unclear EXACTLY how to install the senders and where to isntall them..

I need to know where the sender goes for oil pressure.

Also does the air/fual gauge tap into the ECU?

Thanks guys sorry if it has been posted elsewhere i really did try to look..
Thanks a lot.

as far as the oil goes it depends on whether its a mech or electrical. if its mech have fun with that one if its ele then u have to somehow mount the sended in the oil. i used a spacer on the oil filter and had it mounted there. then u just run one wire from there to the gauge. i just got my car back so i havent hooked mine up yet. but ive done them b4.

a/f well beisdes the fact that its useless. might as well just tap it off the o2 off the front of the engine. ur gonna be running a wire for the oil anyway. im a wuss when it comes to going near my cars ecu. if ur not go for it. but i have no idea which wire.

thats two gauges, whats in the other spot?

also u may want to wire up a switch so u can turn them off, im sure ur a/f is gonna be annoying. if i decide to use my narrow band, i have a wide so i dont know why i would. id mount it in the two vents above the radio so u can close them and not have to see the disco all the time.

what would look cool if, there was a way to install your gauges like the 350z looks. like right above the vents and below the clock.

I figured it out...i think, it seems i need a T for the sensor and the idiot light on the dash's sensor....I just don't know where that sensor is on the actual engine related to anything..if someone could point me in the right direction for that that'd be great.

if you are just lookin for the oil guage try getting a digital one and intergrade in the dash somewhere like around the clock .... you dont need the air one and you still have a 3rd hole to fill... the max looks alot cleaner without the pods
