When it rains it pours...
So I have read about resetting the SRS light on the 4th Gen and 5th Gen 2002-2003, but I can not find anything for a 2001. Does anyone have a link or an idea about how to do this? As far as I know it went on for no reason,but I am in the middle of trying to fix the Driver's Side power window motor and installling new front speakers which were blown.

 

I would have it checked out before resetting it. It wouldnt be comforting for me driving around knowing my airbags could not be in working condition. You can get it done for $60.00 probaly.

 

It is my understanding that a reset will not make the light "go away". If the problem still exists the light will remain on then I will visit the Dealer. I am just trying to prevent a needless trip.

 

any help please - this light is driving me nuts?

 

i washed my car one time and after, it was flashing, water stuck in the sensor, the dealer got it out cleaned it up and deleted the code....no problem since then... around 50 bucks CND
