My tranny is shot...where to get new one with price?

My tranny is shot....2nd to 3rd was shifting late for a while and now 3rd to 4th is starting up. It has 95k on it, I was expecting a little more life out of it but I guess not. I really dont want to spend more then $500, shipped. Where can I find one, I dont have the means to get one from a junkyard plus the ones around here are very small.

Actually dafertilizer, my car only does it in the 2300-3900 rpm range. Anything higher or lower then that is smooth and normal. 3rd to 4th is smooth and normal most of the time to as is 1st to 2nd. So, idk.

Wow alot of people are having trouble with their 5th gen trannies. That kind of sucks. You might want to try looking in the for sale section and see if someone is selling one off of a wreck.

DAMN., how long have you had your ride? Sorry about that... Auto?

Rebuild is always good if you know of a good shop. If you do the rebuild, most shops give you like a 1 year warranty for the rebuild.
