I had this mod on my 4th gen, i dont see any info about it for adding a shock sensor to the 5th egn, is it possible?

 

I remember a write up about 1-2 years ago, but don't remember which generation it was on or who did it. Anyone remember????

 

vqpower has one but its for the 4th gen

 

Just put the sensor in the car and tap the trigger wire to the hood pin switch. This way when the sensor is set off it is as if you opened the hood with the alarm armed. If the hood trigger is to short of a pulse for the aram to set off then buy a pulse relay and extend the legth of the trigger.

 

sounds easy , i think that waht the 4th gen one deals with, just test to se whcih wirre is hot and hook up to that one?
