rear disc brake calipers

As I was to replace my pads and rotors, the pistons on both rear calipers wouldnt turn in at all. Are they common to seize up like that? I would have expected them to last longer than 110,000 miles.

Yes, one of mine went at 130K. Replaced both.

It toke me a 2hrs to turn mine tonite, but I got it done. I will probably replace both of them after the winter. I've got 170,000 on my car.
