Just got my custom guage overlays from importintelligence.com thought I would share some photos

did you have to remove the needles to install them? and how hard were they to get them back where they're sapposed to be if you did?

 

i wouldnt waste my time or money on it but it looks alright.

 

I think it would have been better if the MAX was more to the left, because the X is cut off... but otherwise, it looks nice, how about some pictures of it at night? does it light up well?

Yes I had to remove the needles. They were not hard to remove or put them back on Import intelligence sends step by step instructions to help you out.

importintelligence has a lot of nice kits. Why'd u decide to go with this one?

 

I like that there is a place that can do custom guae overlays for us. Your choice of design isnt my flavor but you have a set of guages that no one else has.

I don't know if those are glitters, looks like some type of granite replica...

 

are your gauges off? seems like your temp gauge and gas gauge (unless you drove 300 miles before the 2nd pic) seems a bit off. any of the needles sticking?

 

For the recorod it is not glitter it is a black metal flake the flash on the camera just makes the metal flakes really shine. they look alot better in person. Yes the first pic was taken about a month ago.

i am not much of a fan of them, but if you like them that is what matters. That is the only pair of gauges i have seen you need to remove the needles.

 

how much did that kit run you. that metal flake doesn't look all that bad.

i wish someone would make the white SE overlays keeping everything the same but moving redline down to 7000 rpms, now that would be sweet

I like the OEM overlays way more than the aftermarket ones..

 

.... i swapped in the 99SE whiteface cluster (the whole cluster including digital odo and trip..) when i wanted the get rid of my black guages in my 96t.... = )

Total cost (i30T pereforated black steering wheel+cluster) 75$

but i wouldnt mind a nice subtle gray infiniti sign under the RPM guage needle .. but nuthing Huge something small... something subtle.. but its not worth 50$

i just dont c the need to put the word "maxima" on your gauges
im pretty sure youll know its a max without it on the guages.
