Uneven brake wear

I just changed my pads this weekend and I noticed some really signaficant brake wear.
This is the Driver Side (Front)

This is the Passenger Side (Front)

From the pictures you can see the driver side is worn down real bad compared to the passenger side. On both sides, the bottom main pin on the torque member had rust and was seized. I was able to get the Driver side out and regreesed, but the passenger side is stuck. The caliper didn't take too much effort to push in. What could be the reason for the pads wearing like this?

bad piston in one of the calipers, perhaps?

The right piston might not be retracting all the way and slightly dragging.

its the bottom caliper pin on both sides. The driver side was easy to get out even with the rust but the passenger side is siezed really bad. I'm going to try to knock the pin out again. If not its off to the junk yard for a TM. By the way those pads have 18,000 miles.
