installed retro's.. using vampire clips to power HIDS??

finished retros only runnign single beam, have 02 max hids.. can i vampire clip them to the stock wiring harness for power?

I assume, by vampire you mean, tap into the stock housing? if you do. yes you can and it will work. However most of us hook up the stock harness to a relay, so then the stock housing 12v triggers the relay and the relay gets 12v directly from battery and into the ballast. This way you wont be running alot of power thru stock weak wires. hid ballast run at around 35 watts, but when you first turn on the lights, the wattage is actually trippled (i think its x3, but its alot) till they warm up, then they run at 35. its just better to do things the right way eventhough using the stock harness might not cause any problems (for now.)

no problem, if u are going to do the relay way. There are diagrams you can find thru google. type something like, HID wirering relay diagram or smoething. u should be able to find it.
