stalls; clogged precat in y-pipe? fed or cali spec? p0430?

hey guys, i just hit 92000mi on my car and it started to stall two days ago when at idle. even when i'm driving and depress the clutch, it'll just go. this only happens after the car is warmed up though, that's why it makes me believe it's the precat or cat. i don't think it's the ignition coils either cuz it's fine at start up, and i have no misfires. i've had a p0430 code for a while, when i had a leak on the intake from the scoop not staying connected, and i got a cheapo intake from fleabay and the SES light was intermittent. now i think the precat's done for and clogging up, causing too much back pressure. it's not the MAF cuz it runs fine all the way up to 6.5k RPM; i've tried to disconnect it and it's still the same.
anyone had the same problems?
would anyone know if i have cali spec or fed spec when i have o2 sensors in the y pipe and exhaust manifolds? none are before or after the main cat in the center.

also, think i should go with aftermarket ypipe? how's them budget stainless steel ones? i've read that they provide some of the best prices

tia,
tony

How many o2 sensors do you have? 3 or 4?

3 = Fed
4 = Cali

What MIL code does your SES light refer to?

Even though its for P0420, its pretty much the same problem except it refers to bank 1. Hope this helps.
