"Pebble Bleech" Gold. Are there other equivalents?

For touch-up reasons, I was wondering if the 4th Gen Maxes have a color equivalent to Pebble Beige?

Also, does anyone know if this color was used on any other models/years of Nissan, and which ones?

Thanks.

I am having a heck of a time finding it up here in N. Fla.

I guess what I really want to know was if Nissan used CG2 on earlier or later generations? I know that companies commonly change colors from generation to generation (or even from year to year), but it seems that some (like Honda) has used their "Matador Red" like forever.

Is there a website where I can look up color codes?

Its all CG2... I30/Maxima, it does not matter. Just go to the dealer and ask for CG2 touch up paint.

Ron,

You should also check www.paintscratch.com ... excellent site that will send you a perfect match.

EDIT: Also noticed in your sig that you have Bosch plugs. I'd recommend getting NGK coppers or platinums. Most people will recommend staying away from Boschs.

Thanks for the site reference and the heads-up on plugs. Just to let you know, though, I am aware about the opinions that people have regarding plugs.

I read an article that said "Never use anything else in Maximas except NGK." However, the same article also stated, and I quote "Other brands may work fine."

As I have said many times before, Bosch +4's have worked more than fine for me. I've had zero problems with Bosch Platinum+4's on this car. I also got plenty of good use with two sets of +4's on my 3rd Gen Max -- the first set lasted 130K, and the second still looked good after 100K b/f I sold the car. (Currently, I have +4's running in two Integras.)

Now, please keep in mind that I am giving props only to the +4's, and that other types of Bosch plugs may not be as good, or even acceptable.

But, I will continue to use +4's on my cars in a New York minute, and nothing will dissuade me from doing so.

But, funny you should mention it, just last week I bought a set of NGK Iridium IX's that are going in my I30 this weekend. Not because I feel that I need them, but because I want to try them out.

Now, after I do the install, hopefully everyone will be able to sleep at night.;-)
