Any reason why? You even lose the cornering light....

J/k. I am one of the members who actually ordered these fogs and in all honesty, if they break or get damaged I will not go thru the hassle of re-ordering them. They will cost you $500 and some change unless Sy can find them cheaper some where. I tried every where and that was the best price. If you can hold off for about 3-5 months I might be parting out my car and selling all of my parts. As much as I thought I wouldn't stay with infiniti for my next car, the new 07 g35 sedan and 08 coupe are looking very tempting.

 

Why does everyone have to be mean to the newbies i mean come on i when i was new here i didnt know jack and hated being flamed on

I think I'm going to get mine re-painted soon. I can't buy another car until I'm out of law school :P

But man, the new sedan and coupes look VERY hot. I'll be torn between a new coupe and a vette in a couple years. Or maybe even a GT-R...haha.

thanks meta. you know not trying to rub anything in or nothing but I am still under 17000 on the odo. I think i drive alot but the odo says something different. I know the next person who picks up my car will be happy. I babied her to death, that and I always pick the use "shortest distance" feature. 2.5 years and going strong!

Oh and NOC.. I don't think we were harsh. The reality is that the foglights are hard to find and noob or not, it will be worthless to try and find them. I would be REALLY surprised if someone in the states besides Kings and I has the ST-R fogs; Unless Meta knows others. The dealer I ordered mine from didn't even have the right side fog in stock. They ordered it from japan and it took even longer to receive. I think the whole ordering process with the fogs took like three-four months.

 

You would have to move to Europe if you really want them - that's a joke off course

I can give you my "Vehicle identification number"(VIN) and you may ask your dealer for the price...
I order parts for Infiniti(actually i have a Maxima!) in the same way here in Europe, whenever i need something...

 

That won't work at a US dealer. They can sometimes look up international parts but they can't order them.

 

Lee, you mentioned kingofsorrow. Does anyone know what happened to him? Did he get his car fixed or did he move onto something else? Was just wondering.

 

This guy is not a newbie... he's been around since May 2003, and I don't think anybody came close to flaming him.

 

His car was totalled. He completely obliterated the driver's side fog light. only the passenger light survived. Not sure exactly what he moved on to purchase as replacement. I kinda miss the 'graphite ghost'..

 

I dont know if anyone noticed this, but this kinda caught my eye.....

OK, it's a 2004.. Meaning it would be the equivalent of an I35...
It's got I35 rims, similar I35 grille, BUT...

Look at the fine print.... WHY does it only have a 3.0?? not a 3.5??

... Because in foreign markets, gas is MUCH more expensive than in our own. I know, it's hard to believe isn't it?

Anyway, a 3.5l engine would not sell very well in markets such as Europe because it would be very expensive to operate.

Yeap, you're right, because:

1 litr of unleaded fuel costs approximately 1,4$ and this is to much for some people...

The Euro Maxima A33 has never been succsessful at the car-market here...

Also the OEM parts are too expensive, round about 50-70% more as in the USA/Canada...

I only want these fog lights because of how they look. I honestly did not even know my car had cornering lights for the longest time. Infiniti did a terrible job in that department. So be honest, when you turn on your turn signal, can you even see anything light up on the front side of the car? I can't. So losing the cornering light (that doesn't really exist anyway) means nothing to me.

My I is silver just like the one in the pic and I think those light are hot but not $500 hot.

Lee, what exactly is on the side of the fog light if there is no corner light? There looks like a corner light to me.
