what if my oil catch can doesn't have any oil in it?

There was some in it when I bought it from the guy, but now it doesn't have any oil. I know I am even overdue for an oil change too.

bought it in may and it was pretty much full and I changed it out in june, got an oil change in like july and I checked it a few weeks ago and it was empty and I know I am due for an oil change

my vote would be PCV valve cloggage as well...

what kind of catch can do you have?

not sure, but it came with the car from the owned who i bought it from. It was very nicely done though. The catch can is a plastic tube with a nipple on the bottom

They are on the head, the one you are gonna be looking for will be on the firewall side head.

um i guess you would buy a new one

just buy a new one...its only like $5 at autozone...

PCV Valves are inexpensive, you can usually pick one up for less than $6. Before you do that, give the valve a quick shot of gumout, that'll usually loosen up any of the crap in it.

ok, I was reading through the FAQ'a and came across a couple pictures of where it is, but I can't see it very well. Anyone have any pix showing where exactly it is and hot to replace it? I know it only takes few mins, I just want to be precise
