Need to know if 2003 350z 18" rims will fit on my 00 max. Will 8.5'' fit the rear?

First off, I don't really know much about rims and was wondering if 2003 350z rims wold fit my max since I have seen g35 rims on som max's. One of my friends buddy's is selling his stock 18" 2003 350z rims to get aftermarket. I have the stock 16" stealies on my 2000 max now, but would like to get these if they will fit. I believe these are the size of the rims:
18x7.5 front
18x8.0 rear

They may be 18x8.0 front and 18x8.5 rear though. I know they are the same bolt pattern as the max, but don't know if the offset is the same. Will these fit on my max without tire rub or the wheels sticking out from the car? I need to know soon because he is waiting on my decision.

it should fit but it depends on your drop/tires on the wheel.
ALSO..I think you'll get better responses in the wheel/tire section...

I posted in both b/c I need a quick response. I have the stock suspension/drop and will be getting new tires on the wheels. My main concern is the width of the back tire. Will I need spacers to even the font and back wheels?

the width will be fine. i have the Z 17s for auto-x (17 X 7.5 and 17 X 8) and they are fine. i actually put the wider ones up front.

i have no experience with tires that wide, but I imagine you would get quite a lot of rubbing with 9.5". And it would really kill your turning radius... Which is not great to begin with.

are you talking about these wheels? (see sig) they're 18x8 all around. I'm running 235/40/18 on all 4, with k-sport coilover drop and no rubbing issues and no spacers

b/c I can get a set of 2003 350z 18" rims with Falken tires for $400. That is the tires already on the wheels which I believe are 18x8 front and 18x8.5 rear

It depends on the offset. I have 18X9 all around and it doesn't rub.
Whats the offset?

If your buddy has the "Performance" version of the Z, they are 18x7.5 front and 18x8 in back. If he has the "Track" version, they are 18x8 front and 18x8.5 in back.

If you have seen the wheels, you can look here and figure out which ones they are and the offset:

Either way, it looks like they should fit.
