5.5, stearing wheel controls supose to light up?

well none of my steering wheel controls seem to light up when the i turn hte lights on at night...are they supposed to?

if so, is there a common problem i should look for?

Unfortunately, they are not illuminated. Your car is functioning properly.

they dont need to light up...you will learn where everything is. you can run your thumb over them to figure out what is what.

they're there so you don't take your eyes off the road, no illumination. SO you are just supposed to get used to the buttons and feel them

Well just like everyone else said they don't light up. You'll learn where everything is and what various buttons do so whether you are driving in the day or night all you have to do is press something while keeping your eyes on the road.

figures i'd ask since everything but hte steering lights up...door pannel switches etc...

and my 99' gtp that hte max replaced had light up steering wheel controls....but were prone to burning out....theats why i asked...thanks
