what do you think are good speakers.

right now i have an alpine iva-d310, alpine F345 amp, jl 500/1 amp, 10w7, kenwood components in the front and memphis carbon coaxials in the rear.. just wondering what front speakers do you think would match with this amp and im looking for something that can sound decent with and without the sub on..not have tinny highs and not bottom out for lows..

no tinny sound = don't use speakers with metallic tweeters
bottoming out on the low end = not crossed over properly IMHO (may want to consider cutting them off around 80-100Hz, since your sub should be handling that range anyway) - I'm not an expert though, so please correct me if I'm wrong.

Don is an excellent source for car audio info and deals though. (Pearl96Max)

i have the jl Audio Xr-650-csi. And they sound absolutely amazing running off my jl 300/4. I couldnt ask for more out of components, the tweets arn't bulky either compared to some of the other speakers that were mentioned.

I have alpine type r components in front, i had kenwoods long time ago

i never had rainbows or any of the mentioned above, but everyone does preach them on how great they are so you cant go wrong with those.

for me alpine is just fine and was a major step up from bose and kenwood, doesnt have annoying highs at loud volumes either, never crackles.

i suggest you get on the bandwagon and do this right the first time
